As a fully open-back design, the ATH-R70xa relies entirely on the driver’s performance, with each diaphragm movement translating directly into sound—free from reliance on acoustic cavities or resonance for frequency shaping. While the ATH-R70x incorporated damping and acoustic design to emphasize low frequencies, the ATH-R70xa delivers uncolored, distortion-free audio straight from the transducer, ensuring a truly open-back experience with natural sound and realistic spatial imaging.
